JACÉA starts from a conviction: craft is contemporary too.
The origin
The label was born in San Jacinto, Bolívar, among hands that have always woven. The craft comes from there; what we do with it looks ahead.
The craft
Every Totem is crocheted by hand, stitch after stitch, in cotton and polyester thread. The pattern appears as the work grows, not afterwards.
The design
The designs are our own. We think of each piece as a fashion accessory: proportion, colour and pattern in service of the person who carries it.
The name
We call our pieces Totems. An object you carry close, that says something about who carries it.
